Dr. Alex Adronov

If you are chemist looking for a course to take in 3rd or 4th year, look no further. From my experience, polymers is the best of the 4th year Chem/chembio course offerings (excluding bio-inorganic, which is apparently awesome, but has not been offered for some time). Dr Alex Adronov does a wonderful job lecturing, he’s very passionate and engaging. At times, especially during the first half of the course, the material is a bit dry, but the second half is extremely useful and makes up for it. The course is designed to allow you to redeem yourself, so there is an opportunity for everyone to do well, whether it be through midterms, assignments or exams. All the evaluations are straight forward and fair. No tricks to it.
