Very content-heavy course that requires students to stay on top of their studies. Students will participate in bi-weekly lab sections led by a TA to aid in the completion of bi-weekly labs.

Textbook: Helpful

Methods of Evaluation: Tests, Exams, Lab Reports, Group Projects

One of the most interesting courses I’ve taken with a fantastic prof, but VERY content heavy. The weekly quizzes help to stay on top of the content and help you learn as you go, but questions on them can be pretty specific. There are no marked components to the lab besides a pre-lab quiz, so take advantage of the opportunity to learn and participate in the labs, they were fun. Studying for the exam is daunting but if you go through the content section by section, lab images, and the lab manual for lab-specific questions, it becomes more doable.
