Dr. Robinson (Fall, 2020)
The course delivery was fair and Dr. Robinson made the course very enjoyable. The midterm and exams were fair and Dr. Robinson gave us plenty of practice questions. Overall, the course was easy if you put in enough effort and the tutorial were enjoyable as well. Enjoyed taking the course and loved the content taught.

Dr. Chaudhary (2018)
Interesting course and there’s a lot of overlap in this course with other courses in Biology/Biochem/Mol Bio. The tutorial quizzes and online quizzes are very easy to get 100% on (which adds up to 20% of your grade). There is a presentation, critique paper, midterm, and exam as well that make up the rest of your mark. The marks on the midterm were pretty variable because they were short answer that were open-ended, but if you’re thorough in your response you’ll do fine.
Dr. Chaudhary (Fall, 2018)
Textbook unnecessary for course.
This course was quite content-heavy, so several pathways and many key molecules had to be memorized, as well as multiple microscopy and experimental techniques. Assessments were a combination of M/C and short/long answer and they all seemed to be marked fairly. Marking of journal article presentations were highly dependent on your TA though, but most were quite helpful if you didn’t understand anything about the article.
