Dr. Imbault (Spring, 2020)
Very interesting course that changes your perspective on social interactions. The tests were somewhat challenging, but the content itself was manageable, even in the condensed Spring term. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys psychology and/or who is interested in learning more about social interactions and theories behind why we think and act the way we do.
Textbook: Required, Helpful
Methods of Evaluation: Tests, Exams, IClickers
The textbook was very dense yet very helpful at clarifying concepts that do not immediately click with you. – The case studies the professor went over are really memorable and the concepts you learn are practically useful in everyday scenarios. I highly recommend taking this course. – The tests (when I took it) were all multiple choice, and were really straightforward. As long as you attended lecture and made an effort to review the material consistently, you should end up with a great mark. – For studying, active recall and feynman technique works the best. 🙂
