A critical analysis of the conceptual and methodological approaches to Evolutionary Developmental biology. Emphasis is on integrating the developmental, genetic and evolutionary approaches towards understanding how phenotypic variation is generated. [3 units]

Examination of how biological principles, mainly from population biology and genetics can be applied to conserving diversity in the natural world. [3 units]
