Dr. Madsen (2018)
A content heavy and dense course, but one of the most rewarding I’ve taken so far. There’s a mix of having to straight memorize each of your lists for the 2 midterms and exam, but also having to be able to apply your knowledge and figure out what action is happening at a joint, and what muscles are working for/against gravity. I found it super interesting, and the prof was outstanding in my opinion. It’s a very applicable class, and it was nice to be able to go into lab without having a marked component and get a more hands-on experience to your learning. The tests, although there’s a lot of content, give quite a bit of opportunity to do well. They’re worth 35% but also have around 70 marks available, with a big portion of that being short answer with numerous correct answers. The exam was similar in difficulty. Make sure you know the content, and get together with a friend looking at pictures of people doing actions to practice for the test.
